MILESTONE GUARANTY AND ASSURANCE CORP. started its operations on July 9, 1962. Formerly known as Eastern Assurance & Surety Corporation (EASCO), The Company stood its ground and weathered the different political, economic, and financial crises that our country has confronted over the years.

During its initial years, only a handful of insurance companies operated in the country and EASCO initially was able to provide insurance plans for the Philippine Government. EASCO became known nationwide as a credible provider for surety bonds and casualty insurance. Over time, EASCO increased its operations and expanded to other insurance lines to compete in the growing local insurance market.

On December 13, 2010, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the change of corporate name from EASCO to Milestone Guaranty and Assurance Corp., as we know it today. On December 16, 2015, a new set of investors finalized their acquisition of the Company and a new Management Team was installed, which brought further development in the Company’s portfolio, network, and culture.

Today, the Company’s officers consist of a mixture of experienced and dynamic insurance executives with diverse backgrounds, grouped towards a common goal of making Milestone Guaranty a household name in non-life insurance.

Milestone Guaranty is beyond compliant with the PhP1.3 billion net worth requirement imposed by the Insurance Commission of the Philippines, and it now has over 30 branches operating nationwide. Milestone Guaranty is likewise affiliated with top foreign reinsurers with provisions for sufficient reinsurance facility, thus making the Company to be among the leading non-life insurance companies in terms of insurance capacity.
